It all begin in 1998 when i'm studying my 2nd year in poly life where i have a class mate, sorry i forgot his name. He is a martial artist learning and studying on Wing Chuan, eventually we talk about martial art and i pick some of his Wing Chuan skill bit by bit, but actually i'm not so keen in martial art during take time, i'm just thinking of picking 1 or 2 skill for some self defense purpose.
After i completed my study, i went to my 1st job in 2000, where i work in a factory, and i slowly heard of this uncle that is a great martial artist in the factory, where his dad teaches Kong Fu during his young time, and he train every night after work, teaching his daughter tai chi and other martial art that he learn, workers in the factory use to challenge him to test his skill in the old days. Some how or rather we begin to talk about Bruce Lee, Wing Chuan and Tai Chi so on. Eventually i started train with him, my daily lunch time become my training time, everyday my teacher will show me some new things, which i need to train in, and he'll always give me some VCD and ask me to see, I always end up falling here and there, it become a more direct kind of Kong Fu, mix of all the things he teaches me bit by bit, which include some Tai Chi and Wing Chuan things, but i only train for few months then i resign the company and go back to Malaysia (Johor Bahru) to work.
For few years i lose touches on martial art, in my mind only is the things that i learn last time is the best, during 2005 i started to get know to this martial art call Aikido, my friends have been talking and discussing on this topic every morning when we are working and i don't bother about them. Cause i think what is so great about this martial art and i never heard of it before, and they have been training for months. Till one day i feel that i should be more open and go for a look, the 1st time i can't manage to find the place but eventually i manage to find the dojo with my friends and take a look about what is this things they call Aikido.
I watch the whole class and found out that why must the teacher keep throwing and turning around with the attacker when he already win in the 1st strike, as what i learn last time, 1st strike bring the fellow down and try to escape :) After the class i ask the teacher, why do you need to keep turning round and make him up and down so troublesome, where your every movement is already an attacking movement if you want to bring him down, guess what he say? " Because he (attacker) still have his centre" Suddenly i'm thinking what is centre? he is already down why you say he still have his centre? Then he show me some Aikido lock, guess what i'm already in the mat for the next class, and now i'm still training and learning where those friends of mine already quit from training :) but i'm still searching and thinking for my answer.
