I believe most of us who train Aikido very long will dream of having this brand :) Is like a must use brand to me, at least that is what i feel. Is like once a life must go Aikido Hombu to train, so an Iwata Belt or Iwata Hakama is one of the things most of us hope to have it with us :)
What is so good about it, maybe is near hombu so everyone will go there to buy, maybe cause everyone is buying so we hope to have one. I just found of this clip online, take a look, maybe this is the real reason behind it, why everyone will have an Iwata Belt or Iwata Hakama :)

O-sensei wear it, Saito Shihan wear it, Yamaguchi Shihan wear it, my Sensei Philip Lee wear it, my best friends wear it, Hakama for Aikido Master, Hakama that handmade for the Aikido training handmade for Aikidoka, wear it and you'll know it :)
